Alag, bit still a team

Kajol recently reflected on her childhood and how her parents — actor Tanuja and late filmmaker Shomu Mukherjee — navigated their separation with admirable maturity. In a chat with Nayandeep Rakshit, she said, “My parents were very clear that it doesn’t matter if we are separated or not, we will always be there together for you… We could not play them against one another.” She added, “They were adults who behaved like mature people who would do the right things for their children.” Kajol also shared that she understood the situation even back then. “I questioned it at that time, but I understood it… It was brave on both their parts.” Kajol is currently promoting Maa and will next be seen in Maharagni and Sarzameen.
