Over the weekend, Kareena Kapoor Khan caught up with her gang of girls. The bougainvillaea-lined terrace at her new Bandra pad is turning out to be a party hotspot for Bebo, sister Karisma, and besties Malaika Arora, Amrita Arora Ladak and makeup artist Mallika Bhat. Bebo posted a photograph on Instagram and wrote, “My forever girls.” Fans wondered if Amrita had borrowed one of Saif Ali Khan’s trademark cotton kurta pyjamas to lounge in comfort and set a new style.


Yuvraj, Hazel step out

On Sunday, Yuvraj Singh and Hazel Keech were spotted together after a hiatus. Looks like it was an evening out in Bandra. The actor, who has been maintaining a low-profile, was last seen in Ira Khan’s play, Medea, in 2019. In March, Keech wrote on Instagram, “I am going off social media, wish me luck in the real world. Tiger roars in Istanbul

Salman Khan has winged his way to Istanbul for the second stint of shooting for Tiger 3 after St Petersburg. As soon as word spread about his presence, hordes of admirers gathered to get a glimpse of him at the shooting locale. The superstar has been obliging fans for photographs in between shots.

After visiting Gauri Khan’s interiors store and checking out the new collection, Ekta Kapoor is now keen to redo her Juhu home. Later, she caught up with the star wife along with Sussanne Khan (who has been hanging out with Kapoor and her telly gang lately), Shabinaa Khan and Neelam Kothari Soni over coffee. Gauri shared snapshots of the “fun evening” and referred to Kapoor as the “chief guest.”

Sidharth Malhotra and South actor Rashmika Mandanna hit it off on the set of Mission Majnu. The South actor, who makes her B-Town debut in the espionage thriller, has completed her part. “You’re a trooper. It’s been an absolute pleasure, thank you, see you soon,” posted Malhotra. She replied, “You’ve been the sweetest. I had a blast working with you. You are awesome. The pleasure is all mine.” Looks like this mutual admiration society will work wonders for the two in ad filmmaker Shantanu Bagchi’s directorial debut.

Sushmita Sen’s younger daughter, Alisah, turned 12 on Saturday. The family celebrated at a Bandra-Kurla Complex restaurant. In her birthday post, Sush wrote, “God’s most precious gift and the love of my life.Thank you for being born…you make this world a beautiful place.”

Geeta Basra

Geeta Basra is back at work a little over a month after delivering baby number two. She shot for a diaper brand ad, helmed by Vatsal Shethia. The actor is said to be in talks for other projects as well. Basra and cricketer hubby Harbhajan Singh welcomed son, Jovan, on July 10. The actor says, “It’s great to be at work. I realised how much I love the profession but I will only do stuff that I enjoy and does not hamper my schedule at home. I’m looking forward to some more exciting work.” The couple’s first-born, daughter Hinaya Heer, is five.

Arijit Singh

Arijit Singh is part of a stage show in Abu Dhabi on November 19. This is the first time the singing sensation will be performing live after the pandemic. “During this troubled time, I couldn’t think of a better way to keep the spirits high and heal through music. I am humbled to be a part of the concert and to be able to continue entertaining fans,” said the Ae dil hai mushkil singer. Singh is performing in the UAE after five years.

Meri Hanikarak Biwi actor Karan Suchak is the new entrant in the recently- launched Thoda Sa Baadal, Thoda Sa Paani. The show, which revolves around a strong, independent woman Kajol (played by Ishita Dutta), features Suchak as a cardiologist. “It feels great to be back at work. It’s been more than 500 days since I’ve been on a set due to the pandemic,” says Suchak. His character is called Anurag Basu. In Ekta Kapoor’s Kasautii Zindagii Kay, the protagonist was also called Anurag Basu. Kapoor had named it after the filmmaker, who earlier helmed her television soaps.

Kailash Kher

Kailash Kher has rendered the promo track of the upcoming show, Haathi Ghoda Pal Ki Jai Kanhaiya Laal Ki. The song will be launched today to mark Janmashtami. Siddharth Kumar Tewary’s show traces the journey of Lord Krishna’s childhood. “Spirituality meets music in the song. This is our way of celebrating the festival,” says Kher.

Back at work

After spending almost two months in a Bhopal hospital due to post-COVID-19 complications in March, Aniruddh Dave is back on the set. He has resumed shooting for the web film, Moh Maya, in Ranchi. After being discharged in June, he was advised rest. Yoga has also helped him on the road to recovery.
