She has reportedly stepped away from her partnership with Maneesh Goyal in the New York fine-dining restaurant that specialises in Indian delicacies. “Bringing Sona to life will invariably be a proud and significant moment in Priyanka’s career,” said a representative of the actor, who has always strived to bring Indian culture to the fore, whether through her films and shows, or beautifully plated dishes that embody the ‘haute cuisine’ of the country. Reportedly, the representative further maintained that exiting Sona doesn’t mean the end of Priyanka’s journey in the food and hospitality sector. It is akin to a stepping stone that is said to give the Desi Girl an opportunity to broaden her ambitions on a more global scale, and she is looking forward to future endeavours.
