Hanging in the air
The fate of ‘Hera Pheri 3’ continues to hang in the balance, with filmmaker Priyadarshan confirming that the much-anticipated sequel remains stalled due to ongoing legal issues. In an interaction with a news channel, he said, “It is still. There are some legal issues. We are trying to sort it out. Once that is sorted, then we’ll go ahead with that film.” His remarks offer a cautious yet hopeful update after years of uncertainty surrounding the third instalment of the cult comedy franchise, which began with ‘Hera Pheri’ (2000) and continued with ‘Phir Hera Pheri’ (2006).
