Global sensation Priyanka Chopra Jonas reflected on her 25-year run in showbiz at the Bridge Media Summit in Abu Dhabi, saying she remains grateful to her younger self for “all the hard work.” The actor, who arrived in Bollywood without industry backing, recalled how “Mumbai was terrifying” and admitted she once saw “six movies flop back to back.” She said Madhur Bhandarkar’s Fashion (2008) was the film that “changed the course” for her. Priyanka added that opportunities were often “taken away,” which pushed her to carve her own path, whether in Hindi cinema or Hollywood. Now far more selective with roles, she said she is “on the other side” of her sacrifices and urged young people to “go easy on themselves” and prioritise well-being. A little wisdom from someone who’s clearly earned it.
