Salman Khan seems to be missing yet another date with the cinemas, and fans aren’t amused. His film ‘Maatrubhumi’, originally titled ‘Battle of Galwan’, was first slated for an April release. The war drama, based on the 2020 India-China clash, was later pushed to May after Salman and director Apoorva Lakhia reportedly reshot nearly 40 days of the film to avoid straining the already fragile diplomatic sensitivities between the two countries. According to a Bollywood Hungama report, ‘Maatrubhumi’ is eyeing a June release as the revised cut continues to face clearance hurdles at the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).
