Sonakshi Sinha and SS Rajamouli have spoken out about the escalating tensions between India and Pakistan. Sonakshi prayed for the armed forces and the country, writing, “Praying for our armed forces. Praying for India and peace in this time of war. Jai hind.” She also criticised news channels for sensationalising war and creating panic, saying, “Stop sensationalising war and creating panic in people who are anyway anxious.” SS Rajamouli saluted the Indian Armed Forces, writing, “Saluting our brave Indian Armed Forces for their unwavering courage in protecting our nation from terrorism.” He also urged people not to share videos or pictures of Army movements, saying, “You might be helping the enemy. Stay calm, alert and positive. Victory is ours.” The Ministry of Defence has advised against live coverage of defence operations and the movement of security forces.
