During the lockdown, Himesh Reshammiya was busy working on 'Surroor 2021'. The composer-singer is now ready with the album, which he will launch “soon.” In 2006, his first album, Aap Ka Surroor, featured Deepika Padukone in the 'Naam hai tera' track, ahead of her Bollywood debut 'Om Shanti Om' (2007). He released 2 motion posters of the album on his Instagram account, along with a teaser poster.

The buzz is that he will be introducing a new face in the music video of one of the songs. Reshammiya had also acted in Prashant Chadha’s film Aap Kaa Surroor (2007), alongside Hansika Motwani and Mallika Sherawat. Over 15 years later, the musician is hoping that he weaves magic again with his new Surroor tunes.

Himesh is currently busy judging the singing reality TV show, 'Indian Idol'. Speaking of Reshammiya's other music projects, he is best known for composing music for films like 'Tere Naam', 'Aashiq Banaya Aapne', 'Aksar' and 'Kick'. 'Jhalak Dikhla Jaa', 'Mujhko Yaad Sataye Teri' and 'Hookah Bar' are some of his popular songs. Reshammiya has also tried his hand at acting. In 2007, he made his acting debut with the film, 'Aap Ka Suroor' and then later featured in 'Karzzz', ' Radio' and 'The Xpose'. However, he failed to impress audience with his acting skills.
