Hrithik Roshan is gearing up for 2025’s biggest action spectacle War 2. Amid his, fans have noticed that the actor has not been active on social media for quite some time. However last month, he reinstalled Instagram just to heap praise on comedian-actor Vir Das for his latest Netflix stand-up special, Fool Volume, describing it as ‘the best stand-up show ever.’ Now, the actor has shared why he stepped away from social media.
While promoting War 2 in Colombo, the actor opened up about his decision to step away from social media. He said, “I deleted the app." Stating why he took such a step, he mentioned, “I understood the perils of constantly being online. The one piece of advice I would give everyone is to try a social media detox for at least a week. I did, and it led to so many realisations. Something in me switched. I became more aware of how much time I actually have, and what it feels like to just be bored, to simply exist, it was enlightening."
