Speaking on mid-day’s Sit With Hitlist, Huma shared that while the film marked her first collaboration with director Subhash Kapoor, the final cut left her feeling disappointed.

Huma Qureshi was discussing a possible theory on why Subhash Kapoor might have cast her in Maharani, which is currently in its fourth season. “Our first collaboration was on Jolly LLB 2. It was not a very big part, but during the edit, my role became even smaller,” Huma revealed. “I remember being really upset about it and saying, ‘I’m not doing anything in this film.’”
