Aasma, or ‘The Youths Melody Makers`, was one of the biggest bands in Indian pop history. Their fame almost rivaled that of ‘Band of Boys’ and even `Viva`. Their claim to fame was ‘Chandu Ke Chacha`, which bowled over thousands of people, making sure it was a song that got stuck in your head whether you liked it or not.

The band met an unfortunate fate when they disbanded soon after their rise to fame. Aasma released two albums in their career span. After their unfortunate fallout, band members stuck to their own individual music and careers. It seems they all fared rather well for themselves.
