Janhvi Kapoor has two mega films lined-up, Dostana 2 and Takht, but until then, she has one more film for the audience and that’s Good Luck Jerry, which was announced a few weeks back. The shooting has begun in Chandigarh and Kapoor was spotted in an all-new avatar.

Seen in a traditional avatar and filming at what seems to be the city’s market area, bustling with people and defining its essence, the actress gave us a glimpse of her late mother and superstar Sridevi.

The film went on floors recently. Kapoor’s co-star in Aanand L Rai’s production is Deepak Dobriyal, who featured in Rai’s Tanu Weds Manu franchise. Good Luck Jerry, directed by Sidharth Sengupta, also features Meeta Vashishth, Neeraj Sood and Sushant Singh.

But that’s not all, she also has RoohiAfzana coming up with Rajkummar Rao and Varun Sharma. The story revolves around a ghost who puts all the bridegrooms in a town to sleep with his singing so that it can possess their brides. Directed by Dinesh Vijan, this is his second collaboration with Rajkummar, after the blockbuster success of Stree.

Janhvi Kapoor, in a media interaction, once shared, "I auditioned for films within Dharma also. I actually auditioned for a film in Dharma only that I didn't end up getting. No, the director will tell me and then Karan will also tell me, 'For this reason…', 'You are looking too young' or whatever."
