Amid this, reports claimed she would headline a biopic on legendary actor Madhubala, produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. However, industry sources have now dismissed the rumours, calling the casting claims baseless.

A report by Variety claimed that, “The Madhubala biopic is back on track and will go on floors by the end of this year. Sanjay Leela Bhansali has come on board to produce, with Kiara Advani starring in the lead role.”
