Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor is gearing up for the release of her upcoming film &lsquo;Mr and Mrs Mahi&rsquo; alongside Rajkummar Rao. The &lsquo;Dhadak&rsquo; star recently participated in a conversation on Dharma Productions&rsquo; YouTube channel moderated by producer Karan Johar. In the video, <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/celebrity-life/fashion-and-beauty/photo/janhvi-kapoor-opts-for-method-dressing-to-promote-mr-and-mrs-mahi-takes-inspiration-from-zendaya-and-uorfi-100606/2" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Janhvi</a> recalled the time she was sexualised at the tender age of 12-13 and how pictures of her ended up on a porn website.&nbsp;

<a href="https://www.mid-day.com/entertainment/bollywood-news/article/-janhvi-kapoor-as-an-actor-you-need-to-keep-pushing-yourself-23303220" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Janhvi</a> said, &ldquo;The first time I felt sexualised by the media, I think I was 12-13 years old. I went for an event with Mom and Dad and there were pictures of me online. Instagram and social media had just started to boom and I found pictures of me in what seemed like a pornographic site and boys in my school were like looking at it and laughing.&rdquo;
&ldquo;It is a very weird thing to navigate and I have been navigating it for a very long time. I think I am very apologetic about where I come from and I need to get over that. I am sure other people deal with it in a much more different sense. I still think the way I am explaining it and my experiences of it are very privileged. But it was complicated&hellip; There is a sort of character assassination that a girl faces when she dresses in a way that makes it seem like she is comfortable with her sexuality,&rdquo; she added.&nbsp;
Janhvi's '<a href="https://www.mid-day.com/entertainment/bollywood-news/photo/mr-and-mrs-mahi-rajkummar-rao-and-janhvi-kapoor-stun-at-the-song-launch-event-of-their-sports-drama-100643/1" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Mr and Mrs Mahi</a>' is a film that's high on cricket, drama, and love. It is directed by Sharan Sharma, who is known for 'Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl'. It will hit the theatres on May 31.
She also has 'Ulajh' in her kitty. Directed by National Award winner Sudhanshu Saria, the patriotic thriller film also stars Gulshan Devaiah and Roshan Mathew, of 'The Poacher' fame, in lead roles. Produced by Junglee Pictures, the project follows the journey of a young IFS officer, belonging to a prominent family of patriots, who gets embroiled in a dangerous personal conspiracy while far from her home turf, at a career-defining post. It also stars Rajesh Tailang, Meiyang Chang, Sachin Khedekar, Rajendra Gupta, and Jitendra Joshi in pivotal roles.
