Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa turns 30

Shah Rukh Khan is one of the most loved actors in the industry. The superstar has delivered several hit films to the cinema and has consistently impressed the audience with his performances. Today marks another special day in his life as Shah Rukh Khan's much-loved film, "Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa," turns 30 years since its release.

Celebrating this milestone, Shah Rukh Khan posted an adorable note on social media. Reposting a Red Chillies Entertainment post, SRK wrote, "I really believe this film is the sweetest, warmest, happiest film I have done. I see it and miss everyone involved in the film, especially my friend and teacher Kundan Shah. To the whole cast and crew, thank you and love you all."

As today marks the 30th anniversary of Kundan Shah's directorial, in a recent interview, the film's lead, Suchitra Krishnamurthy, discussed the potential of a sequel to the film. She suggested that if a remake were to happen, Aryan Khan could be a suitable choice to play the role originally portrayed by his father, SRK.

During a conversation with Zoom, the actress said, "I used to keep getting asked this for many years: Who do you think could play the new Sunil and Anna? I would say probably Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt, but they are also too old for this now. You need somebody completely new, young, and vulnerable. Maybe Kaveri could play Anna. Well, I would have said Aryan Khan can play Sunil, but then he is not into acting.”

"Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa" is a Bollywood romantic comedy film directed by Kundan Shah. The movie was released in 1994 and features Shah Rukh Khan, Suchitra Krishnamurthy, and Deepak Tijori in lead roles.

What's next for Shah Rukh Khan?

It's difficult to imagine a world without a Shah Rukh Khan film, particularly in 2023, given that he graced us with three movies this year: "Pathaan," "Jawan," and "Dunki," which was released on December 21. However, this was our reality from 2018 to 2023, and consequently, the year 2023 will always be remembered as the year of King Khan. Now, hold on tight, as Shah Rukh Khan is hinting at his next movie, which is slated to begin filming in March or April 2024.
