Kabir Bedi and Rekha starred in Rakesh Roshan directed Khoon Bhari Maang in 1988. The film saw box office success as well as critical acclaim. In a recent interview, the actor recalled how he felt honoured sharing screen space with the legendary actress. He went on to share anecdotes from the sets and revealed how the Umrao Jaan actress was a sensitive girl, as she was afraid of getting hurt.
Sharing how he came on board for Khoon Bhari Maang, Kabir Bedi recalled, “Khoon Bhari Maang is the film I am most known for, it’s the most remembered. The film was a superhit. I was shooting for another series, called Magnum PI, in Hawaii when I received a call from Rakesh Roshan.” The actor reveals how stars that time hesitated to portray villain on-screen and so they rejected the role. However, when he was informed about Rekha being the lead, he immediately agreed to do the flick.
