It is going to be a long wait for movie buffs before they can see Kangana Ranaut in her much-awaited film Thalaivi as the film’s release date, originally set for April 23, has been postponed in the wake of the rising number of COVID cases.


After the lockdown last year, many filmmakers were awaiting the release of their upcoming films in 2021. But, the films which were slated to have a theatrical release soon, have also been pushed back.


Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi, Amitabh Bachchan’s Chehre are amongst the few. Adding to it, the makers of Ranaut’s Thalaivi took to their official social media handles, on Friday and expressed their gratitude to fans for showering the trailer of the AL Vijay directorial venture with love and extended their support to the gover.
