Kangana Ranaut and lyricist Javed Akhtar`s legal battle continues as the Magistrate court in Mumbai summons Javed Akhtar on Kangana`s complaint. The complaint is based on Indian Penal Code sections 506 (criminal intimidation) and 509 (insult to the modesty of a woman). Javed is required to appear before the Andheri court on August 5.

During the court proceedings, Dr. Ramesh Agarwal, Javed`s physician, was summoned as a witness. He testified about a meeting that took place between Javed, Kangana, and her sister Rangoli Chandel back in 2016. Dr. Agarwal informed the court that during the meeting, Javed discussed the issue between Kangana and Hrithik Roshan, emphasizing the need for a settlement between the two actors.
