The year started on a scary note for Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor, and their kids Taimur and Jeh. Saif was attacked by an intruder in their Mumbai home. What followed was a barrage of speculations about the nature of the incident and what exactly transpired on the night of January 16, when an intruder barged into Jeh's room. Kareena was also trolled during this time, with people speculating about her whereabouts during the attack. Some also questioned the intensity of the attack.
In a recent chat with Barkha Dutt on Mojo Story, Kareena recalled the media coverage and reactions on the internet that followed the attack. Kareena had also slammed the media coverage back then through her Instagram but had later deleted the post.
Now, reacting to the way the internet responded to the incident and the news being fed to the audience, she said, “It was utter garbage. It makes me really… not angry because it is a really bad kind of emotion. I never want to be angry because I don’t think it is in me, but I just feel really sad that that’s what humanity has come to. Is that the kind of consumption that people really want? Is that what we are going to give them? Are you going to laud other people’s grief?”
