Lata Mangeshkar and other Bollywood celebrities wish Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray on 61st birthday

Lata Mangeshkar, Anil Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, and Riteish Deshmukh were some of the names in the industry that extended their wishes to the Chief Minister of the state.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray turned 61 today on July 27. On this occasion, several prominent names from the Hindi film industry extended their wishes on social media. One of the wishes came from legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar


This is what she had to wrote about Thackeray on her Twitter account:



Sanjay Dutt wrote- “Always wishing for your health & prosperity. My best wishes to you on your birthday #UddhavThackeray Ji.”

Anil Kapoor shared a picture of the CM and tweeted- “Wishing our Honourable Chief Minister Shri #UddhavThackeray ji, @OfficeofUT a very happy birthday. May you stay in good health & continue the good work of leading the state and our people.”

Actor-politician Urmila Matondkar wrote a note in Marathi:

Riteish Deshmukh stated- “Wishing Hon. Chief Minister of Maharashtra Shri #UddhavThackeray  ji a very Happy Birthday. May god bless you with great health and long life. Thank you for always communicating with us even in the most difficult times. @OfficeofUT #HappyBirthdayUddhavThackeray ji.” [SIC]

The youngest son of Shiv Sena founder Bal Thackeray, Uddhav Thackeray became the state's chief minister in November 2019.
