Huma Qureshi`s Single Salma has quietly hit theatres today. It is the only new Hindi release among a host of re-releases (including seven Shah Rukh Khan films and Baahubali: The Epic). Despite being a new release, the film — which also stars Shreyas Talpade and Sunny Singh — is struggling to get screens. Directed by Nachiket Samant, the film has been co-produced by actor Saqib Saleem, who is also Huma`s brother. As the film hit theatres, Saqib penned a heartfelt note urging people to watch the beautiful film in cinemas.
On Friday, Saqib announced the release of Single Salma in an emotional post. “This one`s personal. It`s a beautiful film about self-love, about choosing yourself, being okay with who you are, and finding peace in your own company. Being single doesn`t mean being alone, it means being whole,” he wrote.
