Actress Mrunal Thakur recently opened up about her long struggle with body shaming and online trolling, sharing how deeply it affected her confidence and mental health. Speaking candidly about the difficult phase, she admitted, “I’ve had my days. There were days I would go to bed crying and cry myself to sleep. I would wake up with puffy eyes and tell myself that it’s not worth it. It was really tough.”
Mrunal revealed that constant comments about her body often left her questioning herself. She explained that there was a time when she would compare herself to others and feel pressured to fit into a certain image. However, a meaningful interaction with a young admirer shifted her perspective. “I remember meeting a young fan who told me they admired my body. It made me realise that I was wishing for someone else’s physique instead of valuing mine. That really changed how I saw myself,” she said.
