Some filmmakers, owing to their vision or unique perspective, leave an impression on you. Having recently wrapped up the shoot of R Balki’s Ghoomer, Angad Bedi counts the director among those who have influenced him deeply. Collaborating with the filmmaker was a learning experience for Bedi, who plays a key role in the Abhishek Bachchan, Shabana Azmi and Saiyami Kher starrer. He says, “The way Balki tells his stories is different from others. Simply spending time with him can teach you so much about art. As actors, we have our own style, but we need a good director who can help us break [the mould]. For me and many others, Balki is that director.”
