However, the festivities turned chaotic after fans thronged the stage in large numbers, forcing Shahid to briefly step away for his safety.

Shahid Kapoor is the latest celebrity to fall victim to a mobbing incident. During the song launch, Shahid invited a few fans on stage to dance with him. However, the moment turned chaotic when several fans rushed the stage simultaneously, crowding and mobbing the actor. For his safety, Shahid briefly stepped off the stage and returned only after security restored order and the fans were asked to move back.
