Considering Khelo India Youth Games 2025 is being held in Bihar, it’s fitting that Pankaj Tripathi — who hails from the state — has been chosen as the annual event’s ambassador. The actor considers it an “honour” to be associated with the national event that kicked off on May 4. “To see these games being held in Bihar fills me with immense pride,” he shares, proud that the spotlight is on the state as it hosts athletes from different parts of the country.

Over the next week, athletes will participate in different sports — from archery to basketball, from fencing to kabaddi — held in Bihar and New Delhi. Tripathi hopes it will encourage the younger generation to make sports an active part of their lives. The actor believes that such initiatives are significant in driving youngsters to aim higher and represent India on a global platform.
