Paresh Rawal’s The Taj Story, despite limited buzz, is growing at the box office with good word of mouth. In 10 days, the film stands at a total net collection of Rs 15.74 crore in India. A Congress member had taken a dig at Rawal over the film’s earnings, accusing him of relying on propaganda for success. Now, the actor has given a befitting reply, clarifying that the collections are organic.

Paresh Rawal hits back at Congress functionary

The Congress functionary reacted to one of the news reports about the ninth-day box office collection of the film on November 10 and wrote in Hindi, “Now, get Modi Ji to watch the screening as well… Paresh Ji, the film won’t run without propaganda. The movie would have earned more without your acting. It’s unfortunate; you used to be such a great actor.”
