The makers of Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2, the sequel to Kapil Sharma’s 2015 debut film, have zeroed in on its release date — December 15. It marks the big-screen debut of Parul Gulati, who features alongside co-stars Ayesha Khan, Hira Warina, and Mirzapur actor Tridha Choudhury.
Excited as Gulati is to make the leap to the big screen, the actor and entrepreneur admits that featuring in a comedy alongside India’s most celebrated funnyman comes with expectations. “Comedy has been the most challenging genre for me,” she says, before adding, “When you’re standing next to Kapil Sharma, you know the audience’s expectations are sky-high. But that also became my biggest motivation — to match up, to respond to his energy in a way that felt natural.”
