The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Rishi Sunak, hosted a Diwali party at 10 Downing Street. Along with political names, Indian celebrities were in attendance at the intimate yet star-studded bash. Celebrities like Preity Zinta, Akshay Kumar, and Twinkle Khanna were seen. 

Sharing pictures from the Diwali 2023 bash at Rishi Sunak's residence, Preity wrote, "What an incredible Diwali this has been. A heartfelt thank you to Prime Minister @rishisunakmp & his gracious wife @akshatamurty_official for inviting me to be part of this year’s Diwali celebration at Downing Street. It was an honour to celebrate Diwali with him and the people from the Indian community in the UK (sic)."
