Bollywood actress Preity Zinta has finally broken her silence on the heartbreaking loss of her team, Punjab Kings, in the recently concluded edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The team played exceptionally well throughout the tournament and even made it to the finals, however, they ended up losing at the hands of the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). The actress who was spotted at all of her team`s matches cheering them, penned an emotional note as the team lost the finals. In her note, she mentioned that the job was ‘half done’ and that they’ll return next year.

The Veer Zara actress took to her Instagram to share an image of all the players of the Punjab Kings team, headed by cricketer Shreyas Iyer. She captioned the post saying, "It didn’t end the way we wanted it to but….the journey was spectacular! It was exciting, entertaining & it was inspiring. I loved the fight & the grit our young team, our shers showed throughout the tournament.”
