In the ongoing legal battle between Karisma Kapoor's kids and Priya Kapur over late Sunjay Kapur's will, the industrialist's wife recently told the court it was not wrong for a husband's assets to be given to his wife after his death

During the latest hearing in late industrialist Sunjay Kapur's inheritance case, his wife Priya Kapur told the Delhi High Court that it was a "healthy tradition" for a husband to give all his assets to his wife. She further refuted the claims of actor Karisma Kapoor's kids with Sunjay that their father's alleged will has surfaced under suspicious circumstances.
Priya Kapur's counsel claimed the same was the case of her father-in-law and Sunjay's father, who gave everything to his wife, Rani Kapur, in his 'will'. Her counsel, senior advocate Rajiv Nayar submitted before Justice Jyoti Singh, "There is nothing suspicious about a husband giving everything in his assets to his wife. As is the case in my father-in-law's 'will' where everything was given to his wife. It is a healthy tradition which perhaps has been maintained."
