Priya Kapur presented a strong defence in the ongoing legal battle over late industrialist Sunjay Kapur’s will during a recent hearing on Wednesday in the Delhi High Court. Senior advocate Rajiv Nayyar, representing Priya, described the dispute as “wife versus wife," arguing that “obviously the current wife would be preferred over the estranged one."

Nayyar, along with Priya Kapur’s legal team, raised questions on the maintainability of the suit filed by actor Karisma Kapoor’s children, saying their challenge to the will was baseless. Defending the authenticity of the will, Priya reportedly told the court, “If the will is forged, will I spell my own son’s name wrong?"
