Priyanka Chopra recently recalled a frightening childhood incident that revealed her mother’s fierce protective side. While promoting her upcoming film The Bluff, Priyanka shared how a late night cab ride in Delhi turned tense when the driver suddenly took an unfamiliar route.
Speaking about the moment, she said, “I remember when her inside Ka Bloody Mary came out once we were in a cab. I must have been 11 years old. Raat mein hum Delhi ke kisi hotel mein jaa rahe the and suddenly, I don’t know, all I saw was my mother holding the throat of the driver.” According to Priyanka, the driver insisted, “Nahi nahi main short cut le raha hoon,” but her mother was not convinced.
