PVR apologises for Dhurandhar 2 fiasco, talks about refund and alternate shows

Paid previews of Dhurandhar 2 were hit by delays and cancellations after film prints failed to reach theatres on time. PVR INOX apologised, citing content issues and unavailable regional versions, and offered refunds or alternate bookings

Aditya Dhar's directorial Dhurandhar 2 was released in theatres on March 18 evening. The makers had announced paid previews across the country before its worldwide release on March 19. However, chaos ensued on the eve of the film's release after prints of the film did not arrive at theatres on time. Many shows were delayed by hours and some even cancelled, leaving enthusiastic fans of the franchise angry and disappointed. Now, PVR has apologised for the chaos and shared a an update on the current situation along with details on refund.
PVR issues apology
Taking to their official social media handles, PVR INOX wrote, "To everyone who stayed back and watched the film despite the delays — thank you for your patience, warmth, and love for cinema. It truly means a lot to us. To those whose shows were delayed or cancelled, we sincerely apologise. We understand how disappointing it feels when something you were looking forward to doesn’t go as planned."
