<a title="Alia Bhatt" href="https://www.mid-day.com/topic/alia-bhatt-all" target="_blank">Alia Bhatt</a>'s film Raazi is an adaptation of Harinder Sikka's Calling Sehmat, a novel inspired by the almost-unbelievable real-life story of a woman who Sikka named Sehmat, to protect her identity. Alia is playing Sehmat, a Kashmiri woman who marries a Pakistani officer with the intention to source out intelligence details and pass it off to Indian forces. Vicky Kaushal is essaying the role of the Pakistani officer.

<a title="Raazi" href="https://www.mid-day.com/search/raazi-all" target="_blank">Raazi</a> is being directed by Meghna Gulzar and produced by Karan Johar and Vineet Jain. It is scheduled to release on 11 May 2018.
The actress, who turned 25, last month, said it is the first time that she was receiving an award "as a woman and not a girl". "Maybe because I have just celebrated my milestone 25th birthday. And it also feels great to win this award in an all-boys club. I say all-boys because they say 'A girl turns into a woman, but boys will always be boys'," she added.
