Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar is leaving no stone unturned in grabbing headlines. The film’s trailer launch event was a talked-about affair for several reasons. A video went viral in which Rakesh Bedi is seen kissing 20-year-old Sara Arjun, following which he faced backlash. He has now reacted to the criticism. To note, the actor essays the role of a powerful politician, and Sara plays his daughter in the film.
In a recent interview with Hindustan Times, Rakesh said, “Sara is less than half my age and plays my daughter. Whenever we met during the shoot, she would greet me with a hug, just as a daughter would with her father. We share a nice rapport and camaraderie, which is also reflected on screen.”
