In recent times, Ramayana has become one of the most talked-about projects, and with Ranbir Kapoor and Yash coming on board, there`s only so much that everyone`s been talking about. It was back in 2020 that Madhu Mantena first confirmed his plans for the Indian epic, along with Nitesh Tiwari directing the film. Now, the director has started shooting for his magnum opus. It was back in January when a report from Pinkvilla claimed that Lara Dutta would be a part of the grand project and that the actress would play the role of Princess Kaikeyi in the magnum opus. 

Now, the actress has finally reacted to the claims. Lara, while addressing the report jokingly, said, “I also like reading and hearing about them, so please continue. Who wouldn’t want to be a part of Ramayana?” The actress continued and said that she would love to play a character in the Ranbir Kapoor starrer if offered. She further laughed and added, “Surpanakha, Mandodari, I am playing them all.”
