Actors Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone are all set to reunite on screen, as per reports. The two are expected to come together for a new film directed by Ayan Mukerji. If true, this will mark their reunion after a decade. Additionally, a latest report suggests that the project will be loosely adapted from Raj Kapoor and Nargis’s 1956 classic Chori Chori.

As per an India Today report, sources close to the development told them Ranbir is expected to revisit the old classic film directed by his great-grandfather, Raj Kapoor, giving it a modern-day contemporary twist. For the unversed, the original film revolved around the unlikely bond between a runaway heiress and a sharp-tongued reporter during a journey that combined romance, humour, and social commentary.
