Rani Mukerji attended the inauguration ceremony of Cyber Awareness Month 2025 at State Police Headquarters on Friday, October 3. The actress, who plays a daredevil cop in her blockbuster franchise Mardaani (the only hit female-led franchise film of India), has constantly championed the Indian police force and the work they do to protect society. Rani, today, joined Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis, Director General of Police (Maharashtra State), Rashmi Shukla, Iqbal Singh Chahal (IPS), Additional Chief Secretary, Home Department, Government of Maharashtra, and Akshay Kumar among others at the event. 

Rani raised awareness against cybercrime against women and children at this event and also saluted Maharashtra Police’s cyber cell - the unsung heroes who work tirelessly towards building a better digital world.
