Following his Grammy Award win on Sunday, Indian-origin musician Ricky Kej has expressed interest in collaborating with Grammy winner AR Rahman, who, he says, emailed him to congratulate him on his win. While Kej has collaborated with several Indian artistes, including Salim-Suleiman, Neeti Mohan and Benny Dayal, an association with his “friend” Rahman is pending.

Kej’s Grammy win on Sunday marked the second one for him after 2015’s Winds of Samsara. His collaborative work with American drummer Stewart Copeland, titled Divine Tides, speaks of the need for environmental conservation.
