Veteran actor Dharmendra passed away at the age of 89 on Monday. He has left behind a rich legacy of his art as he was an integral part of the Indian film industry for six decades. Upon his demise, many people shared fond memories they had the privilege of making with the late actor. Saira Banu who worked with Dharmendra, recalled the actor as her later husband Dilip Kumar`s younger brother. In a long post on social media, she shared her memories with the actor and the bond he shared with Dilip Kumar.

The senior actress took to her Instagram on Tuesday, and shared a series of throwback pictures featuring the late actor, herself, and her late husband Dilip Kumar. Dharmendra and Dilip Kumar shared a bond of mutual respect and love, with the former even going to the extent of owing his enduring career to Dilip Kumar.
