While the actor’s portrayal of Lord Rama is earning praise, a section of netizens is criticising the teaser for its use of VFX. Some netizens recently claimed that one particular man in the teaser was AI-generated, as his turban’s colour appears to change from blue to purple. Putting the speculation to rest, actor Saket Patel, who appears in the scene, addressed the issue on social media.

In the teaser, one shot features Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama walking through Ayodhya while people shower flower petals on him. As the camera moves, a person on the left is seen with a turban that appears to change colour from blue to purple. The clip has since gone viral, with netizens pointing to it as possible evidence of generative AI being used in the teaser.
