This happened after a former KKR support staff took to social media and posted about the match, writing, “The last time KKR beat MI at the Wankhede, I was still a part of that dugout. It’s been a while, but today might just be the day!”

Replying to which, a user wrote in a now-deleted post, “No, Joy! KKR has been cursed from the day SRK abused the Wankhede security guard.” This has now reminded everyone of SRK's big fight which led to getting banned from entering the stadium for 5 years.
