The two National Awards for Jersey (2019) has made Shahid Kapoor ecstatic as well as stressed. The Nani-starrer was declared the Best Telugu Film, and also bagged the Best Editing gong for Naveen Nooli. Kapoor, who features in the Hindi remake, is now feeling the pressure to match up to audience expectations. Gowtam Tinnanuri, who helmed the original, wields the directorial baton for the Bollywood outing as well.

Shahid shared on Instagram handle and shared a congratulatory post for the entire team of `Jersey` along with the movie`s poster, for winning the honours at the 67th National Film Awards. He wrote, "Huge congratulations to the entire team. Thanks for the extra pressure."
