As the actress turns a year older today, it looks like a good day to reflect on her journey. She has had an impeccable journey that's had its challenges, victories, and, of course, a lot of effort.
It all started with Bigg Boss 13.
BB 13 continues to be a remarkable part of her journey, one that shot her up to fame, and before that, there's no denying that she did well with Punjabi music videos as well. 2019 was a key year in her career and set the stage for her future endeavours. She may not have won the show, but she did win hearts.

During her time on Bigg Boss 13, Shehnaaz found a support system in the form of <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/entertainment/television-news/article/sidharth-shukla-birth-anniversary-when-shehnaaz-gill-wrote-the-late-actors-name-while-giving-an-autograph-23324513" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Sidharth Shukla</a>, and their bond as SidNaz continues to be popular even today. Their chemistry became the high point of the show, and thereafter, they were seen in multiple music videos together.
For the unversed, Sidharth passed away due to a cardiac arrest in September 2021, and that turned out to be one of the most difficult phases of her life.

Post her stint in Bigg Boss, Shehnaaz shed over 12 kgs in just six months, proving how committed she was towards self-improvement. Gill's drastic change also impressed fans and audiences; therefore, she also transformed her personality overnight. Shehnaaz got her big Bollywood break with <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/entertainment/bollywood-news/article/salman-khan-birthday-2023-bobby-deol-plants-a-sweet-kiss-on-mamu-at-birthday-party-see-pics-23326922" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Salman Khan</a>'s "Kisika Bhai Kisiki Jaan." She played the character of Sukoon, and with that, got everyone talking. She was then seen in "Thank You For Coming," alongside Bhumi Pednekar. A feminist comedy film, the movie did make it to TIFF and, therefore, got her international acclaim.
She is now gearing up for "100 Percent," a film by Sajid Khan, and will co-star Riteish Deshmukh and Nora Fatehi.
Gill has already worked in multiple Punjabi films, including "Kala Shah Kala" and "Honsla Rakh." A multi-faceted star, she also has her own talk show, "Desi Vibes with Shehnaaz Gill." The likes of Shahid Kapoor, Rajkumar Rao, and Suniel Shetty, among others, have been a part of the talk show.
