Sudhir Dalvi to get financial aid from Shirdi temple trust

The Aurangabad Bench of the Bombay High Court recently granted permission to the Shirdi Sai Baba Sansthan Trust to give financial assistance to veteran actor Sudhir Dalvi. The 86-year-old actor, who is known for his iconic portrayal of Sai Baba in Manoj Kumar’s 1977 film Shirdi Ke Sai Baba, is currently undergoing treatment for sepsis. His portrayal as Sai Baba earned him immense respect.

Shirdi Temple gets permission to aid Sudhir Dalvi's treatment

The Shirdi Temple Trust had approached the court seeking approval to disburse Rs 11 lakh as financial aid towards Dalvi’s ongoing medical expenses. For the underserved, as per previous directives, the Shirdi Sansthan must obtain the High Court’s permission before offering financial aid exceeding a certain amount. Hence, the petition was filed in the case of Dalvi. The petition argued that the veteran actor's condition was serious and that the assistance was essential for his critical treatment costs.
