Sonam Kapoor's son Vayu receives sneakers worth Rs 42,000 on first birthday

Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja's son is a young fashion icon as he received a pair of sneakers worth Rs. 42k

Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and Anand Ahuja's son Vayu Kapoor Ahuja turned 1 on August 20. On the occasion, the Kapoors and Ahujas reunited in Delhi to celebrate. A few days after his birthday, the little boy became the owner of a pricey pair of footwear. It is a known fact that Anand is a sneakerhead; Sonam is a fashionista. 

Now, Vayu has received a Nike Air Force 1 'Kobe Bryant' footwear from one of Sonam and Anand's friends. The businessman shared a post on Instagram showing Vayu's newly arrived shoes. Sharing it, Anand wrote, "Toddler AF1 Low “Kobe Bryant” for our baby Vayu from our bff @seemz … un-DS-ing on 8/24 (sic)."

This isn't Vayu's first pair of expensive footwear. A day before his birthday, Anand shared a post on the little one's toddler Nike Air Jordan 1 ‘85s shoes. Sharing it, he wrote, "#TBT to 1 year ago when I found these OG toddler AJ1 ‘85s a few weeks before Vayu was born."

Sharing pictures from Vayu's first birthday celebration, Sonam wrote, "Our Vayu turned 1 yesterday. We did a lovely puja and lunch with family. Thank you so much to the universe for giving us our blessing. #everydayphenomenal #vayusparents" She further added, "Special thanks to @ranipinklove for making a beautiful themed puja and lunch .. love you. Also thank you to @kavitasinghinteriors for the beautiful mandir she’s given us." 

For the puja, Vayu wore a light blue kurta and matched it with a floral-printed jacket. His look for the celebration was completed with a white pyjama. Mom Sonam looked gorgeous in a mustard yellow anarkali with a Kalamkari dupatta. She did her hair into a sleek bun. The actress opted for classic red lipstick and a pair of jhumka to complete her look. Anand was dressed in white.

Apart from Anand, Sonam's brother Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor is known to own expensive and luxurious pairs of sneakers and footwear. He has multiple of them at home.
