Playback singer Sonu Nigam, who is known for making headlines for his controversial remarks found himself in a messy social media encounter after an imposter with a verified account in his name on X posted about the Bharatiya Janata Party losing in Ayodhya during the Lok Sabha Elections 2024, despite building the Ram Temple. 

The post on X made by a handle with the name Sonu Nigam Singh read, “The government which beautified the whole of Ayodhya, gave a new airport, railway station, built the Ram temple after 500 years, created an entire temple economy, that party has to struggle for the Ayodhya seat. People of Ayodhya are ashamed!”
