Actor Sooraj Pancholi returns to the movies after four years with Kesari Veer. At the trailer launch, held in Mumbai on Tuesday, Sooraj got teary-eyed as he took to the stage to speak about the upcoming film. The actor struggled to complete his sentence while thanking the makers for giving him a chance when nobody would. He was comforted by co-star Suniel Shetty.
In a viral video shared on Instagram, Sooraj begins by saying, "This is a very special film to all of us. Thank you, Kanu (Chauhan), for giving me the chance. Thank you, Akanksha..." he then takes a pause, eyes filled with tears. Suniel comforts him. Explaining his absence from the big screen, Sooraj, without mentioning the Jiah Khan suicide case, added, "Life. Many things I had to clear from my life. Everyone knows about it. There`s nothing more hiding behind it. My mother says good things take time. I was waiting for the right film, and I don`t think I could have ever gotten a better film than this to let me say a comeback."
