Gadar 2 has created absolute gadar since its release. Despite the passage of some time, the film has achieved something truly remarkable by climbing to the 4th position among the highest-grossing Hindi movies of all time.  `Gadar 2` can now proudly boast its membership in the exclusive 500 crore club.

Despite facing a clash with Akshay Kumar-starrer `OMG 2`, the film witnessed a historic collection standing second to only Shah Rukh Khan`s `Jawan` which was released recently.
