Ahead of Zoya Factor shoot that sees him as Indian team skipper, Dulquer Salmaan to begin training in sport; Sonam Kapoor meets sports journos to brush up on knowledge of game

Dulquer Salmaan and Sonam Kapoor
Rejuvenated after her break in the US, Sonam K Ahuja returned to the bay in time for her prep for The Zoya Factor. While Dulquer Salmaan and she have begun their reading sessions, it is learnt that next week will see the leading man hit the cricket pitch. Salmaan, who plays Indian cricket team skipper Nikhil Khoda in the big screen adaptation of Anuja Chauhan's novel by the same name, will be trained in the sport.
A source from the film's production unit reveals, "Dulquer is a better bowler than batsman in real-life, but he will be required to ace both acts for his role. Although the film rolls on August 28, the first schedule entails filming scenes featuring the leads. The cricket sequences will be shot in the months to come. So that will give Dulquer ample time to hone his cricketing skills."
